Session Info
Our pets play such a huge role in our lives.
They are our protectors, our live entertainment, our furry shoulder to cry on. They are the family that we get to choose. I get that. I live that.
I understand the unfathomable void when they are gone. I also understand what the images I create mean to a pet parent who down the road has only those images remaining to hold. That is my motivation from consult to delivery of images.

Each package includes a pre-shoot consultation where I want to learn as much as possible about your pet - his/her personality, quirks, comfort zone. I also want to hear your vision and how you would like to use and display your images to create the best plan and maximize the session. Session locations vary to suit the needs of your pet and your vision. A cat or shy/nervous dog may be most comfortable at home, in the garden or on a neighborhood stroll. It may be a studio style session that you are after - my equipment is easily transported to your home and does not require any more space than moving a coffee table. Outdoors, Sarnia-Lambton boasts many great waterfront, garden, urban and natural spaces that create amazing backdrops. Where ever you chose, your pet is the star and the focus. Farewell sessions for pets who's time is short are always prioritized and the pre-shoot consult can happen immediately before the session to be as time efficient as possible. I look forward to working with you to create beautiful, lasting memories of your pet. Please get in touch through the Contact page, email or phone. From there, the adventure begins! |

- Absolutely! The safety and security of every pet I photograph is the highest priority. In any public space there are also leash laws that are applicable. In very few cases, and only under the most perfect circumstances, is a pet I am photographing off leash. One of my magical powers is removing leashes in post process.
My pet is shy/fearful/nervous/barks in unfamiliar situations. Can you work with him/her?
- You had me at shy/fearful/nervous/barks. I have loads of experience though years of being a rescue foster mom, volunteering at the shelter and being a dog mom to a special needs pet. Extra time is always given for any pet that needs it.
Are the human family members allowed in the photos?
- Yes. I love to incorporate a pet's family as much or as little as fits their comfort zone in several shots. I love to be creative! Please include this in your vision during the pre-shoot consult. That said, I am a pet specific photographer, the context and focus is always the pet.
Do you only photograph pet dogs & cats?
- My portfolio is mostly dogs and cats however, I have photographed many different pets through my shelter/rescue work and various events including rats, bunnies, guinea pigs and a pet pig. Get in touch, lets see how we can create the best memories of your pet.
How can I gift a session?
- Gift Certificates are a great way to purchase a session for the pet lover in your life! Contact me and lets get started creating your unique and thoughtful gift that is sure to be appreciated for many years.
